Taught the basics of baking by my mother as a child, for many years I have enjoyed making and decorating cakes for family and friends – the perfect antidote to a career in accounting and finance!
I was constantly encouraged to take my baking to “the next level” and during 2009 I took an opportunity to do just that, by developing my hobby into a home baking business and founded “Cupcake and Cookie Central”. Initially I baked for Food Festivals, Farmers Markets and other Seasonal events in the Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey area, but soon found that I was being asked to bake more and more private orders and commissions. This enabled me to concentrate on my passion for design and creativity over a range of baked products (not just cupcakes) and so I decided to specialise in this area and consequently rebranded my business as “Cupcake and Bake” in the Summer of 2010
My key business objective is to produce "Delicious Cakes made with Love" for your special occasion - be it Wedding, Birthday, Christening or maybe a Vintage-style Afternoon Tea or Luxury Coffee Morning.
